Millbrook Wins Wine of the Year 2009 New York Cork Report

Block Five East Pinot Noir and Tocai Friulano win big at the 2009 New York Cork Report's Wine of the Year Tasting.

Lenn Thompson at New York Cork Report announced today the winners from the 2009 New York Cork Report Blind Tasting. Millbrook Winery is the proud winner of 2 of the 3 categories for the Hudson Valley River Region, receiving both Best White Wine and Best Red Wine for 2009. The award winning wines, our 2008 Tocai Friulano and a new comer, the 2007 Block Five East Pinot Noir, our first vineyard designate Pinot, are no strangers to the awards circuit. Both vintages also won awards earlier last season receiving both Silver and Gold and the esteemed Cornell Cup.
We are proud of this honor and the now much celebrated efforts of our winemaker, John Graziano and his team.
